Sponsored by the Fort La Présentation Association, the Second Annual War of 1812 Symposium will include a reception on the evening of Friday, April 30 and a full-day event on Saturday, May 1 with presentations by historians Donald Graves, Rene Chartrand, Dianne Graves and Nicholas Westbrook.
Exhibitors include Lord Durham Rare Books Inc., the Discriminating General and the Company of Military Historians. Others are to be confirmed.
Admission will include hors d’oeuvres at the Friday reception and a continental breakfast, a buffet lunch and dinner with period entertainment on Saturday.
