Where History comes alive

For most of the near 1000 days of War of 1812, the Niagara was on the frontline. Half the reported casualties suffered by combatants during the War occurred within 35 miles of the Niagara River. Because of that fact, Niagara's museums, forts, battlefields and naval battle sites still house many of the weapons, daily implements, clothing and documents of that time.

FOOT SOLDIER DISPLAY

We welcome you to come to Niagara to see them for yourself. Until then, thanks to the generous support of Salt & Pepper, our toronto based digital marketing agency. We are pleased to bring to you images of some of the original 1812 artefacts in Niagara's public and private collections through this 3D virtual museum.
